Congratulations to our members!
In 2023-2024, AQPA participated a second time in the Building the Bridge of Communication through Culture program as part of the program Amateur artistic practice: towards cultural citizenship in neighborhoods. Subsidized by the City of Montreal, this artistic project allows people with aphasia, their loved ones and members of the community to express themselves through art.
Led by a choreographer, a visual artist and a videographer, twelve artistic workshops combining dance, visual arts and video were given. In total, 16 participants, including 10 people with aphasia, took part in the project. During the workshops, we were able to appreciate a wide variety of ages and a great cultural richness among our participants.

Our members were able to exhibit their works during an opening at Patro Villeray on May 28, 2024. We are very proud of them and we offer you visuals of their creations.
