Louise Bourbonnais, executive director
After ten years in the publishing sector, Louise Bourbonnais obtained a Masters Degree in Library Science from McGill University. She acted as the director of the geriatrics and gerontology library at the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal for nineteen years. Following her retirement in 2008, Louise has been actively involved in the administration of community organizations, including the AQPA since March 2010. Having ceded the management of the AQPA to Françoise Rollin in December 2015, she now devotes herself to the Aphasia House Foundation. Finding resources to finance AQPA projects and providing a home to people with aphasia are goals that she shares with the board of directors.
